Life always gives big opportunities in the form of small hints; Pankaj got it in the form of the 1st cookery realty show- " MasterChef India". The show was hosted by a big celebrity Akshay Kumar. The show helped Pankaj in exploring herself as a professional chef beyond her teaching career spanning over 16 successful years. As a winner of this prestigious Show, Pankaj is idolized as working women with a passion for her hobby. Now, as a professional Chef she is trying to encourage all to have a little more passion in routine but entertaining acts of cooking and serving, with some small changes that can bring a smile on all the faces on the dining table.

She has shared some of her experiences in the form of her 1st Book on cookery titled as "MasterChef Cook Book", that released in Nov’12. Pankaj has dedicated this book to all who are interested in good food, specially the housewives in small towns who want to experiment with varied Indian and international recipes and surprise their friends and relatives with their culinary skills.The book became a bestseller and certainly a proof of her popularity across India. She is currently working on two more books. Her second cookery book was a little book with 16 sweet recipes for little girls to do for Barbie Dolls and came as a part of ‘Barbie- I am a Chef ‘Kit.

Pankaj hosted her first cookery show – "Chef Pankaj ka Zayka" on Star Plus during Sep-Oct 2011 and again she showcased her passion for cooking. The success of this daily show added another feather in her cap.

Her Third show on air was “Sales ka Baazigar” on ETV UP where she judged the show with Cinestar Ravi Kishan and Sandeep Singh, Management Guru. (ADD)

She took the flavors of Indian overseas in April'11, when she was invited to Varli Food festival in New York and share the center stage with some of India's leading and well known Chefs.
Her immense popularity in New York, saw her being invited to New York again in April 2012 for the Varli Food Festival once again.

Another major recognition and appreciation came to her in the form of Platform provided by prestigious Cambridge University. She was invited to address the South Asian Community in Britain by Cambridge University in July 2011. She demonstrated some Indian foods for health conscious people and managed to break the general British myth that Indian food is all about spicy curries and Chicken Tikka Masala.

Today, Pankaj has established herself as a Chef both at National and International levels. Pankaj has her own mobile app which is available on Black Berry, I Phones, Google play, worldwide. In April 2012, she personally launched her App on Verizon, the largest service provider in US at the Verizon Headquarters in New Jersey.

Pankaj's passion for cooking and serving has made her a well known person in India and Overseas. Amway India has chosen her as their Brand Ambassador for their popular product Nutrilite, as acknowledgement of her passion for healthy cooking. Pankaj has launched a DVD for Amway sharing exciting recipes using the Nutrilite protein powder. She also judged the national level cookery competition organized by Amway traveling across the country to pick the winners. Her recipes also feature in a special recipe book for Amway Nutrilite. Pankaj is also endorsing Eastern Masalas, India’s biggest spice manufacturers and exporters. She has not only done a print campaign but also shot a TVC for Eastern Masalas which will be aired shortly on all major GECs. She is the Brand Ambassador for Hindustan Unilever Limited's "Hunar Aapka, Pahchan Hamari" campaign too, a Hindustan Unilever Ltd. initiative for Taaza Tea promoting talent in women in small towns of UP had Pankaj as its brand face. Pankaj traveled across 10 small towns in UP helping women recognize their potential and judging and awarding them for their beautiful efforts. Besides being featured in National Magazines like Femina and India Today, she is writing for many Newspapers and publication. Pankaj does a monthly column for the leading Hindi Magazine for women in India- Grehlaksmi. She featured on the Cover Page of ‘ Siliconeer” magazine, the leading magazine for South Asians in the Silicon Valley, USA. Her interviews also appeared in Women Now- Star Plus USA and Diya TV, the first South Indian Channel in the US. In the month of October, 2012, Pankaj shot with UK’s Top Chef- Rick Stein who is currently touring India for his BBC series-The Search for the Perfect Curry. She introduced Rick Stein to the delicate flavors of the Awadhi Cuisine and cooked for him, Dum Macchli (fish cooked using the Dum Technique) and Dal Sultani- a creation of one of Lucknow’s premier ‘Rakabdars,’ which were highly appreciated for their unique flavors. Pankaj has had the honor serving the king of Bhutan and the Chief of Armed Forces during their visit to Lucknow in 2011 where her signature dishes were highly appreciated.

Pankaj does a lot of workshops and cookery demonstrations. She has been invited to conduct workshops for Samsung Microwaves, Panasonic, German Technologies, Rotary clubs, Gold Gyms, Rourkela Club, JC’s Hyderabad, Vizag and many more.

She is constantly being invited to judge Cookery shows all over the country.

Pankaj also is invited as a motivational speaker to many places. She was invited to speak at TEDx IIT BHU, TEDx Bangalore, IBA Delhi, 3rd Women Enterpreneurship, New Delhi, International Youth Forum, Sharda University and many more.

Delhi On 24 November, 2012, Pankaj created New Delhi’s largest Sandwich with more than 40 children in ‘Be a Hero’ event organized by The largest DHA (an integeral part of all health drinks for children) manufacturers from US. In August 2012, she launched The Pankaj Bhadouria Culinary Academy- her dream project, where she shares her love for culinary arts with cooking enthusiasts in what she does next best: teaching! The Academy offers courses for Amateur Chefs (that is what she likes to call all cooking enthusiasts!), professional courses for budding chefs and a Bridessential course for the young girls preparing them for a beautiful life ahead. The Academy is situated in a prestigious address at Hazratganj, Lucknow.

Her signature Cafés -Tramp Tree Café, which are situated in Hazratganj, Lucknow and Fun Republic Mall, Lucknow is now attracting the young and the not so young alike with its cosy interiors, comforting food and of course- the coffee! Soon Café Tramp Tree might be seen in a corner near you and many more places!

Pankaj is constantly being invited to judge a lot many events other than food and cookery contests in the city! Pankaj was one of the judges for the Femina Miss India UP 2012. Pankaj's growth from a small time school teacher to a happening celebrity is a real time story of self-belief and passion for your smallest routine daily works. She is trying her best to encourage all in believing their personal capabilities and passion. The Journey of a school teacher to India's First Master Chef and beyond has indeed been an eventful one and will continue to be so!
